Introduction

The vision of India 2020 is the dream that Upj Abdul Kalam saw. Dr. Kalam delivered his best speech on May 25, 2011 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, where he outlined his vision for India. We will learn more about his vision for India in 2020 in this essay.

He showed us the difference between India and other countries

According to him, we have a history of 3,000 years in which people from different parts of the world came to India and stole from us, took our land and enslaved our spirits. From Alexander to the Greeks, the Turks, the Moguls, the Portuguese, the English, the French and the Dutch, all plundered our lands.

All these people came to our country, plundered us and took everything we owned. But so far we haven’t done that with any other country. We have not enslaved anyone.

We did not invade the country, undermine the culture or try to change the way of life. And all because we respect the freedom of others.

His three dreams

In India’s Vision 2020, Dr Kalam saw three dreams for India.

Freedom

So his first dream was freedom. He believes that India saw the dream of independence only in 1857, when Indians began their struggle for freedom. Later we Indians consolidated this freedom, cherished it and built further freedom. If we were not free, no one would respect us today.

Development

His second dream was the development of India. For fifty years the country has been a developing country. But now it’s time to develop the land.

In terms of GDP, India is one of the five largest countries in the world. We are growing by 10% in many areas. Our poverty rate is also dropping by the day. Today our services are appreciated all over the world.

But Indians still do not see our country as a developed one, and the main reason for this is lack of self-confidence, self-esteem and self-assurance.

India at the top of the world

He had a third dream: that India would be at the top of the world. As long as India is not first in the world, no one and no other country will respect India. Because people only respect power.

We must be strong as a whole, not only militarily but also economically. We must all work together to ensure that our country leads the world.

Primary objectives

Planning for India’s future and Vision 2020 challenges, food security, employment, education, science and technology capacity, business training, health for all, human development, infrastructure development, energy, water management, land, forests and biodiversity, globalization, etc.

Conclusion:

The Vision 2020 document for India evaluated several issues. But the focus should be on education and employment. As India’s population is growing rapidly, many jobs will need to be created by next year.
